Cornerstone Association, Inc. (CAI) offers seasoned consulting professionals to provide high-quality business development, employee training, grant writing, and project management services to FBO/CBO and start-up corporations in blighted, rural, and distressed communities.

Succeeding in business is difficult, most businesses fail within the first 3 years, due to improper business structure and lack of capital.

Cornerstone Association, Inc. (CAI) is a community-based non-profit 501(c) 3 organization located in Clayton County, Georgia. Adult Business Development Program
These services include reliable/high-quality resources for business creation, personnel development/training, project management, and grant writing services. We collaborate with other agencies/organizations to promote an awareness, understanding, and appreciation for corporate ownership through interactive training programs. We also sponsor free and/or low-cost Expos, Seminars and Entrepreneurship Training Classes, at the grassroots level, throughout the year.

CAIMP
The Cornerstone Association, Inc. Micro-enterprise Project is designed to serve clients at the grassroots level, initiated in middle Georgia’s Department of Human Resources/DFCS Region 6, which covers eleven counties. Through collaborations with DFCS and other community-based organizations, we provide training classes and technical support services to current and former TANF clients, as well as citizens who are at-risk of becoming impoverished.

Youth Development Program
Owning Our Own Junior Entrepreneurship Program (O3/JEP) is an interactive business education initiative for at-risk youth in low-income Georgia communities. This initiative strives to streamline bureaucracy, promote racial harmony, and strengthen the fiscal stability in communities. This is an exciting interactive training program, for teenagers ages 14-18, that walks them through the process of creating and running a real business.

“The Corner Stone”
A 30- minute broadcast on: WSSA 1570-AM, “The Light” Radio Station, Monday mornings from 9:30-10:00 AM. The program host is Gwen Smith, CEO of Cornerstone Association, Inc. It is a Business Development Education program divided into 3 sections:

  1. Discussing various topics on business development
  2. Business “Spot Light”, a short interview with our sponsor/guest of the week
